We went to Nordstrom's today and got matching shoes, hope daddy's not mad!!! Hey with every purchase Toms will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. One for one. Totally makes my shoe buying addiction, not as bad!!

Monkey Tails

Sawyer finally has a little hair now at 2.3 years old.  I can put it three pig tails.  But to Sawyer they are "monkey tails".  She wakes up talking about them. She also still loves to eat dog food, and doesn't try and hide it.  She also still is a very picky eater.  Sleeping much better.  We weighed the other day,  37 pounds.  She wears a size 9 shoes and continues to grow.  She looks like a little person.  Our little baby is growing up for sure.  Today she kept walking around the house with a bowl on her foot (Brodie's food dish) and refused to give it up.  At preschool she was eating a pretzel, and she had taken a bite out of it.  She said,"Mama, it's a turtle."  It really did look like one. ''I'm going to eat the turtle now, Mama."  She is still really busy, and screams bloody murder when she gets her teeth brushed.  We love her, cherish her and kiss her as mush as we can.  I ask her like every day.  "How come you are so beautiful? I didn't know God made girls as beautiful as you."  I also point to her heart and tell her she is beautiful inside.  Today, she grabbed both my cheeks and said, "You're beautiful mama."  Seems like she was born yesterday, with those hot pink lips of hers. 

Thankful

My parent's sweet old neighbor, Santa Claus, died in his chair, was found three days later, he was only 69.  I drove by to pick up Sawyer the other day and had a feeling something was wrong.  A third grader was shot in the belly at an elementary school in Bremerton.  Poor school was on lockdown and a friend's kid had to hide outside behind the bus, just her and the busdriver.  Omg, these are babies bringing guns to school.  A state tropper was shot in Gorst (five minutes from our house) last night, he was only 44.  I didn't sleep last night. I still can't get over the fact Whitney died either.  Urgh.   And why did they cut Lauren Grey off American Idol?  My friend Clare had a beautiful baby girl today and I kissed my dog, my hubby and Sawyer multiple times today because I am so thankful for what I have, even though I take many things for granted.

And I am thankful even though we can never get a pic where we are all smiling!

Princess and the Pea

Sawyer sleeps in our room half, I mean most, of the time in this little blue cot! I vacuumed today and put it on top on the bed! While she was watching Ice Age she hollered for me, I thought for sure she'd fallen! Nope she just wanted her feet covered! Quite the princess these days!
