Easter is coming...

A couple of photos, to get us all inspired for Easter.  They are all from Martha's site, I stalk her website daily.  We plan on having an Easter dinner at our house for the first time this year, can't wait.

 Egg cups are like the greatest invention.  I bought two white ones at QFC, can't wait to use them. 

I'm still trying to figure out how you crack my eggs like this?

Crete paper is so fragile, I could never make them look this good.

Our Dear Little Valentine

We kind of celebrated Valentine's Day over the weekend, we spent the whole weekend together and crossed some things off of our to do list.  Sawyer and I spent Monday (Valentine's Day) at home cleaning house, I swear my house hasn't been clean since like before Christmas.  Jake brought me home yellow and red tulips and a sweet card.  I got him a card as well.  But the greatest present of all was our little Sawyer.  I dressed her up for daddy. 

 

Two years ago on Valentine's Day we found out we were pregnant.  We can't even imagine what our life would be like without her.

Thanksgiving

I love this picture, I especially love Grandma's sweater I bought her. 

Sawyer even played the piano for everyone.

Thanksgiving went by fast, it was the Thursday after the storm.  We had a big gathering this year, with all of the Patnoe's and the Godon family.  I worked four hours that morning at the hospital.  Then Jake, Sawyer and I headed to Leslie's house.  I made pumpkins pies and brussel sprouts with bacon.  It was a busy house, lots of great food, and it was good seeing everybody.  Gail gave Sawyer a peanut butter cookie,  it was her first time eating peanut butter.  Well second time, Aunt Allison tried to give Sawyer a honey roasted peanut at her birthday party.  I was really proud of this picture with all the kids smiling.  Next year Jake and I decided we will have a mini Thanksgiving on another day of the week, just so we can have our own leftovers.
