If this doesn't make you cry, I don't know what will...

Post Secrets

So, thanks to my friend, Irina, I have been visiting this sweet website called Post Secrets.  People from around the world send in secrets on a postcard, anonymously.  I think we all should do it at least once in our life time.  I took the liberty of sharing some of these with you, that relate to me of course.  Hope you enjoy and still continue to read my blog.

Like Post Secrets on the FACE.

Wetlands Nature Trail

Even though it was cold, Sawyer and I checked out the wetlands trail in Belfair.  (This was a couple weeks ago now.)  We have lived here all this time and never gone.  I put her in the stroller all bundled and we did it.  It was so much fun she kept pointing and saying, "Ooohh!"  She is so cute and was such a trooper because it was so cold, her nose was very red at the end of our walk.
She kept kicking off the blanket and saying, "No mama."  She wouldn't wear her hood or a hat.
So pretty and only like five minutes from our house.  Would love to walk it on a sunny day.  It was a little work out for me, I am guessing it is at least a mile out.  And the way back is up hill.
The end.

Yellow makes me happy...

I started saving yellow pictures as soon as I started wanted a yellow door.  This seems like the longest Winter ever, everyone is in a funk weather we want to admit it or not.  I am so over the snow, I don't think it's pretty, I don't want to play in it and I don't want to be cold.  I want to lay in my back yard, in my two-piece and get sun burnt, with my toes in a kiddy pool.  And yes, I am coming down with yet again another cold.  So here are some pictures to share.  Bring on Spring and Easter please.
Somehow I relate everything to food.  This picture makes me want to cut up this yellow pepper and dip it in some homemade Uncle Dan's Ranch.  Pretty much one of the best inventions ever.
Tulips in egg cups.  Why didn't I think of that?  It's pretty amazing.  Check out the wallpaper.  Love.
I want to plant some yellow daffodils around the big maple in our back yard.  Check out these photos at Our County Farmhouse, they will make you drool.
This is beautiful, I love the random purple flowers.
Anything with mason jars, I love.  Very similar to the center pieces we had at our wedding,  too bad our photographer sucked.  Or I'd show you a picture.
Fall is so special to me because that's when Sawyer was born.  Leaves on the ground make me think of how bad I wanted to meet her, I didn't think she would ever come into this world.  A calm peaceful silence...then she came.

Okay here's a wedding photo....

(most of the photos were from bing or martha stewart)

You didn't think I wasn't going to not post a picture of a yellow door did you?

Today the Fed Ex lady raved about our happy house.
